Principal's Message

Welcome to Heritage Elementary!

Dear Heritage Family,

It is with great excitement, gratitude, and honor that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Heritage Elementary School. I am thrilled to join the Jaguar family and become part of a community that is deeply committed to student success. I look forward to building strong partnerships with our students, staff, families, and community members as we work together to ensure every child reaches their fullest potential.

My journey in education began in 2006 as an elementary teacher in Chicago, Illinois. Since then, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of educational roles, including classroom teacher, instructional coach, district Mathematics Program Specialist, and Assistant Principal. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to supporting high-quality instruction, developing strong educators, and creating learning environments where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, our theme will be "One Band, One Sound." This theme reflects our commitment to unity, collaboration, and shared responsibility. Just as every musician plays an important role in creating a beautiful performance, every member of our Jaguar community plays a vital role in the success of our school. Together, we will work toward one common goal: ensuring academic excellence and meaningful growth for every student.

My vision for Heritage Elementary is grounded in high expectations, strong relationships, and a culture of belonging where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. By working collaboratively and maintaining a laser focus on student achievement, we will continue to build upon Heritage's strong foundation and create opportunities for all Jaguars to excel.

I am truly excited about the future of Heritage Elementary and the opportunity to serve this amazing community. Thank you for welcoming me to the Jaguar family. I look forward to meeting each of you and partnering together to make this an exceptional year.
